IPU

The IPU has been since 1996 an Institute of Investigation and Training associated with The Technical University of Denmark. Its mission is to offer specialized services in the development of products, materials and processes, systems of manufacturing and management to the industry and to other centres of investigation. It offers assistance and training to public and private companies. Its manufacturing division has participated in more than 20 European projects related with metal forging. It is one of the biggest specialists in cold forging in Denmark, an area in which in the last 15 years it has participated in investigation for the development of software and simulation interfaces. Its director, Dr. M. Arentoft has been president of the Danish Cold Forging Group since 2001.
