IEFPS Miguel Altuna is a public centre for Higher Specific Vocational Training created in 1928 and dedicated to Vocational Training in regulated, continuing and professional training. It teaches four specialities (mechanics, electricity, administration and plastics) with more than 500 students at different levels. The task of educating is done through a close collaboration with companies that, through signing collaboration agreements participate in different ways with the centre: the development of team projects, the financing of projects and the resources necessary for their development, testing the training received, teacher training in innovative technologies, practices in students' companies, etc. For MAI the line of educational improvement of cold forming is of special importance, because of its innovative character and its impact on the surrounding industrial fabric.
